Guide to using our Tubular Lock Pick
BEFORE YOU START
If you have just bought the Tubular lock pick set you will need to loosen all the pins.
Once the pins all move very smoothly you are ready to begin. We loosened our
brand new tubular lock pick by just spending 30 minutes in total sliding each one up & down.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
You NEVER need to use a lot of pressure with these picks. As you can see from the
demonstration below I'm only using a finger and thumb to pick this lock. If you try to brute
force open a lock you will only damage the pick and that lock!
STEP ONE
Unscrew the tension
STEP TWO
Push up all the pins as shown
STEP THREE
Push all the pins down so they are all level with the top of the pick
STEP FOUR
Tighten up the tension again (Each lock will require various tension)
STEP FIVE
Place the tubular lock pick into the tubular lock at exactly 90Degrees
(The D-Lock we are picking was a common one found in most stores)
STEP SIX
Now rotate the tubular pick clockwise and anticlockwise
while very, very slowly pulling out the tubular pick.
As you can see you only need a very small amount of pressure
when you rotate the pick.
