The solution was to create a brand new set of lock picks designed for UK, Europe and Japanese locks. Slim Line picks work beautifully on all kinds of locks with small or narrow key ways including some found in the USA.

9 PIECE SET INFORMATION

This nine piece slimline set includes seven different picks with metal handles, two tension tools, and a snap over top grain leather case. The main difference between this set and the 5 piece slimline set is you have some variations of rakes and standard picks. While the rake and Diamond are probably the most common two used these other variants of them can work on some locks where the standard 5 piece set cannot. There are also plenty of people who prefer to use (or have more luck) with these variants of the 5 piece set.

If you already know you will enjoy this profession or as a hobby then this is a good step up. If you haven't picked before and are deciding between this set and the 5 piece set it is slightly more difficult to choose because the 9 piece does open up some more options but it might also confuse you because of the multiple choices you now have.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

The diamond and rake are probably the most common two picks used.

Slimline Picks can be harder to master than the standard picks for some people.
